Tangent circle

Folks...this post is the continuous of my previous post. I had explained you what is circle properties which had various properties of a circle. Now lets work on tangent circles and begin our journey towards our destiny....

Tangent Circles:- Circles that intersect each other are called as tangentcircles. Geometry constructions are related to these tangent circles. Lets us solve some problem related to tangent circle radius.

Find the equation of the tangent at (-2, 3) to the circle x² + y ² – 13 = 0.

Soln: (x₁, y₁) = (-2, 3).

The tangent is x (-2) + y (3) – 13 = 0

There are two types of tangent circles called internal tangent circle and external tangent circle.
